You will review documents, solicit subcontractor quotes, and coordinate estimates across in-house trades such as steel, sheet metal, and electrical. The role requires 5+ years in industrial construction and 3+ years in estimating/pre-construction, with proficiency in Autobid, Quote Soft, TSI, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial construction projects or equivalent.
• 3+ years estimating/pre-construction experience.
• Experience with estimating software and drawing standards.
• Knowledge of ASME/ANSI Codes a plus.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents and bid instructions.
• Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotations.
• Distribute plans and addenda to subs/vendors.
• Develop bid strategies and rough scope of work.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits; travel may be required.
• Review take-offs and pricing for self-performed work.
• Ensure subcontractor/vendor quotes comply with plans.
• Enter estimates into cost control system; support turnover meetings.
• Coordinate scope between in-house trades; supervise junior estimators.
