M.W. Watermark is seeking a Painter III to lead the Paint department in our Michigan facility. The role requires hands‑on painting, workflow management and adherence to quality standards. You will work in a fast paced manufacturing setting with safety as a priority.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of industrial painting experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This non‑remote, on‑site position emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in an industrial painting environment.
• Must be organized and able to perform in a fast paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Paint department work flow based on the production schedule.
• Assign work to Paint employees and ensure completion per company policies and procedures.
• Confirm all materials for each job to ensure pick accuracy prior to painting.
• Responsible for Quality Control of orders and employee craftsmanship.
• Operate conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other surfaces.
• Lead by example by maintaining a positive attitude and mentoring co-workers.
• Promote and contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
