Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Technician 3 in Beech Island, SC. The role requires 4+ years in industrial maintenance and strong troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical systems. The candidate will repair and maintain material handling equipment, perform preventative maintenance, document work, and manage asset-tracking in the CMMS. Overtime and rotating shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in Industrial maintenance.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Proficient in PLC communications and HMIs.
• Familiar with schematics and panel drawings.
• Ability to locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking and component replacement.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Create and close work orders into asset management system with data on labor, equipment, and parts.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and identify resources needed to resolve.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure specs.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels.
