Job summary

CTI Foodsis a Kentucky-based manufacturer focusing on quality food products. This role maintains and inspects plant equipment to prevent failures and ensure smooth operations. You will perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot controls, and operate equipment such as conveyors and pumps.

A 3-year maintenance background and ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics are preferred, with an associate degree ideal. Lift up to 50 lbs and travel between warm and cold areas is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs of previous experience in maintenance.
• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Able to read and understand mechanical & electrical schematics.
• Read, write, and understand English at a technical level.
• Complete basic math problems.
• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Frequently move between warm and cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect equipment and evaluate integrity to anticipate failures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and machinery including office auxiliary equipment.
• Identify when mechanical parts are worn and need replacement.
• Understand and troubleshoot controls and interlocks; understand electrical shutdown procedures.
• Operate conveyors, augers, pumps and other equipment to perform pre-operational maintenance.
• Report concerns or problems to the maintenance lead or supervisor; perform related duties as assigned.
