Job summary

CTI Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to support routine inspection, basic preventative maintenance and equipment operation at our Kentucky facility.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, performing PMs, troubleshooting controls, electrical shutdowns, and maintaining records while adhering to GMP and safety standards. Shift flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment required.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs of previous experience in maintenance.
• Read, write and understand English at a technical level.
• Complete basic math problems.
• Able to read and understand mechanical & electrical schematics & P&ID flow charts.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and machinery including office auxiliary equipment.
• Identify when mechanical parts (e.g. sprockets, bearing shafts, chain, gearboxes) are worn and need to be replaced.
• Understand and troubleshoot controls and equipment interlocks.
• Understand and perform electrical shutdown procedures.
• Understand the fire system operation and where the valves are located.
• Able to operate and setup all equipment in the plant.
• Report concerns or problems to the maintenance lead and/or manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance repairs as needed.
