Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Devens, MA, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Tech (ICT2) to keep our corrugated packaging plant equipment running to OEM standards. You will collaborate with maintenance leadership, operators, vendors, and the reliability team to maximize uptime and safely meet production goals.

The role requires extensive electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and the ability to train peers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with large industrial equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with electrical controls and industrial drives.
• Experience with maintenance work order systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and practices.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and perform preventive and emergency maintenance.
• Perform emergency breakdown maintenance to support operations.
• Train peers and junior team members on maintenance skills.
