Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc seeks an Industrial Hygiene Consultant to assess and control a wide range of health hazards in residential, commercial, industrial, and public venues, utilizing your broad background and expertise.

You will plan, coordinate, conduct investigations, operate sampling equipment, prepare written reports, and may provide testimony; travel locally and on overnight assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a science or engineering field.
• Must be a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
• Strong regulatory experience with Federal and/or state OSHA regulations.
• Ability to convey complex ideas to a broad audience and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze existing conditions or historic events in various venues (residential, commercial, industrial, public).
• Evaluate and control exposure to health hazards (noise, biological contaminants, fire hazards, mold, accidents).
• Operate sampling and testing equipment and document findings.
