Lead and manage a team of onsite Industrial Engineers supporting 4-5 manufacturing facilities, ensuring successful execution of time studies, work measurement, line balancing, productivity improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as the primary liaison between Customer, Onsite, and Offshore teams, driving project governance, resource planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting. Support manufacturing transformation programs including assembly line consolidation and high-flow line implementation, identifying opportunities for labor optimization, automation, robotics, material flow improvements, and digital manufacturing solutions.
Key Skills
- Perform video-based time studies, work breakdown activities, line balancing studies using Yamazumi charts, multi-model line balancing, and level loading in high-volume and high-mix production environments.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Total Quality Management, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, and continuous improvement practices to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity, and improve cycle time.
- Identify and implement opportunities for labor optimization, automation, robotics, material flow improvements, route optimization, warehouse and inventory optimization, and digital manufacturing solutions.
- Develop SOPs, work instructions, standardized operating methods, improvement plans, KPIs, dashboards, and reports to improve process consistency, performance, and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience leading Industrial Engineering teams supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Proven ability to lead global teams and coordinate effectively with cross-functional, onsite, offshore, customer leadership, operations, engineering, and sales teams.
- Experience with program governance, multi-project delivery management, risk and issue management, KPI/metrics-driven delivery, customer escalation management, and onsite-offshore delivery models.
