Jobtailor in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Industrial/Operations Engineer to design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability. You will lead a team focused on time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, and throughput optimization.
You will develop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions for complex manufacturing environments, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints to identify and eliminate waste.
Design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing and operational processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability
Lead a team focused on advanced time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, and throughput optimization
Develop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions for complex manufacturing environments
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints to identify and eliminate operational waste
Build and maintain advanced simulation, flow, and capacity models for data-driven decisions
Create cost models, make-vs-buy analyses, and ROI justifications for capital and process investments
Influence product design through DFMA, tolerance analysis, error-proofing, and assembly feasibility studies
Lead NPI industrialization efforts, including production layouts, material flow, and ramp-up strategies
Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Demonstrates expertise in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies to drive efficiency and quality. Proven ability to lead teams in advanced problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.
