Job summary

GXO is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives across 3PL warehouse operations, focusing on productivity, quality, safety and cost performance. You’ll analyze performance data, develop labor standards, and partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements.

The role requires guiding kaizen events, time studies and value stream mapping to reduce waste and improve throughput, with measurable business impact across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or equivalent
• 4 years of industrial engineering, continuous improvement or operations engineering experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics or related environment
• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with Microsoft Office, data analysis and performance reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across 3PL warehouse operations to improve productivity, quality, safety, service and cost performance
• Analyze operational data, labor performance, workflow constraints and facility layouts to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
• Develop, validate and maintain engineered labor standards, work methods and productivity targets for warehouse processes
• Partner with operations, inventory, quality, safety and IT teams to implement sustainable process improvements and standard work
• Facilitate kaizen events, value stream mapping, time studies and other Lean tools to reduce waste and improve throughput
• Track project benefits, savings, performance improvements and adoption of new processes to ensure measurable business impact
