Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning engineer in Milpitas, CA to support end-to-end planning and execution by translating business requirements and constraints into actionable plans. You will work across planning horizons and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes forecast accuracy, scenario planning, and the use of advanced planning systems to enable data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in planning, operations, or supply chain analytics within a manufacturing or complex supply environment.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., i2 / Blue Yonder, Anaplan).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end planning concepts, including demand–supply balancing and constraint management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand, supply, capacity, and inventory data across planning horizons.
• Develop range- and scenario-based plans to assess trade-offs related to capacity, yield, inventory, and service levels.
• Drive actions to optimize material and resource utilization in support of revenue, margin, and service objectives.
• Own forecast performance and drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and address material, capacity, and operational constraints.
• Translate complex planning data into clear insights, options, and recommendations for reviews.
• Serve as a key liaison across Business Units, Operations, Planning, and Finance to align objectives.
• Leverage advanced planning systems and analytical tools for constraint-based planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.
• Support process standardization and documentation to improve planning clarity and scalability.
