Job summary

You will partner with Operations and Leadership to improve safety, quality, throughput and cost performance, while implementing equipment and automation solutions. The role emphasizes capital projects, labour optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to support growth and expansion plans across manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of industrial engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in plant layout design, facility planning, and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of material flow, labor standards, line balancing, and capacity planning.
• Experience managing capital projects and equipment implementation initiatives.
• Analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of plant layouts supporting current operations and future growth.
• Develop facility expansion plans, production line layouts, and capacity improvements.
• Design and optimize manufacturing flow from raw materials to final assembly.
• Lead production line balancing and labor optimization across operations.
• Manage facility improvement projects including layouts, workstation standards, and equipment relocations.
• Identify and implement manufacturing equipment, material handling, and automation solutions.
• Conduct capacity analysis and develop scenarios for growth and new product introductions.
• Optimize warehouse and material delivery systems to reduce waste.
• Develop capital expenditure justifications and lead project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Mentor junior engineers and share engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Operations, Safety, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams.
