Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer for the Aiken, SC area to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes. The role focuses on safe, on-time production, labor routing, and cross-functional problem-solving within a high-performance engineering environment.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s in engineering and 5–9 years of industrial engineering experience, plus strong SAP routing knowledge and Lean/Six Sigma familiarity. Relocation assistance is provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology and 5 years of industrial engineering experience or 9 years industrial engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze machining and assembly processes to design the best method of manufacture to safely produce a quality product on time.
• Collaborate with teams in quality, operations, materials, and development departments for resolution of issues and root cause analysis
• Maintain labor routings and operator worker allocations
• Plan work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays
• Perform work measurements as needed supporting operations to improve health, safety, and performance of staff
