Job summary

GXO Logistics seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer to drive performance across transportation and warehousing operations. You will analyze workflows, design layouts and develop engineered labor standards that enhance safety, quality and productivity.

You will lead Lean and continuous improvement projects, support robotics deployment, and use data analytics to optimize processes and KPIs, collaborating with cross functional teams on site launches and standardized practices for blue chip customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience in leading Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop engineered labor standards and data-driven KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and optimization projects across warehouse and transportation operations
• Analyze workflows, labor standards and capacity using industrial engineering tools and data analytics
• Design and implement layout changes, material flow and process standards to improve safety, quality and throughput
• Develop engineered labor standards, time studies and performance metrics; track KPIs and recommend actions
• Collaborate with operations, IT and automation teams to deploy robotics and advanced technologies
• Support new site launches, transitions and customer implementations with process design and documentation
• Coach operations teams on Lean, Six Sigma and problem-solving methodologies
• Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic standards while driving productivity gains
• Prepare business cases, ROI models and presentations for leadership and customers
• Partner with global teams to share best practices and standardize processes across sites
