Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Detroit is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to drive operational excellence through process optimization, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. In this hybrid Detroit-based role, you'll lead initiatives that improve productivity, reduce waste, and support the digital transformation of our manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, 5+ years of manufacturing IE experience (prefer automotive),

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
5+ years of industrial engineering experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive.
Experience with process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
Strong analytical and project leadership skills.
Experience using AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, Power BI, Python, SQL, or related digital technologies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead process improvement, labor optimization, and productivity initiatives.
Develop capacity, headcount, and cycle-time models to support operational decision-making.
Apply AI, machine learning, and data analytics to identify opportunities and improve manufacturing performance.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, and IT teams to implement Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing solutions.
Manage projects, influence stakeholders, and present recommendations to leadership.
All other duties as assigned.
