Job summary
Richards Manufacturing Company in Irvington, NJ, is seeking a Maintenance Senior Industrial Electrician to oversee and guide other electricians and ensure optimal functioning of equipment. The role requires a NJ Class A Journeyman license, strong NEC/NFPA 70E/OSHA knowledge, PLC troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- NJ Class A Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Electrical Safety & Arc Flash training required.
- Electrical technology or engineering degree preferred.
- Certifications demonstrating hands-on maintenance ability are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide other electricians, ensuring safety code compliance.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Interact with work instructions and maintain parts inventory via computer.
- Perform scheduled inspections, servicing, and testing of equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow procedures.
- ADT: read blueprints and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- OT work as needed; perform LOTO permits and arc flash risk assessments.
- Assist third-party power systems studies including short-circuit and incident energy analyses.
