Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Baltimore seeks an Electrical Senior Project Engineer – Industrial to lead electrical design for industrial and manufacturing facilities.

You will oversee multi‑discipline projects from scope through construction, collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient power systems. The role requires a PE, 10+ years in process/manufacturing facilities, and hands‑on experience with medium voltage, protection

Qualifications

• BSEE or other engineering discipline with applicable experience.
• 10+ years of experience in the consulting engineering industry for process/manufacturing facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, or governmental facilities.
• Ability to develop scope of work, conceptual design, detailed design, and execution plans.
• Ability to support proposals and assist in client sales presentations.
• Perform Lead Engineer duties on multi‑discipline projects.
• Provide leadership, guidance, instruction, and mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Experience communicating with clients, partners, and individuals at all levels within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on multi‑discipline projects for industrial facilities.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members.
• Develop scope of work, conceptual and detailed designs, and execution plans.
• Support proposals and client sales presentations.
