Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Baltimore seeks an Electrical Senior Project Engineer – Industrial to lead electrical design for industrial and manufacturing facilities.

You will oversee multi‑discipline projects from scope through construction, collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient power systems. Qualifications

• BSEE or other engineering discipline with applicable experience.
• 10+ years of experience in the consulting engineering industry for process/manufacturing facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, or governmental facilities.
• Ability to develop scope of work, conceptual design, detailed design, and execution plans.
• Ability to support proposals and assist in client sales presentations.
• Perform Lead Engineer duties on multi‑discipline projects.
• Provide leadership, guidance, instruction, and mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Experience communicating with clients, partners, and individuals at all levels within an organization.

Electrical Senior Project Engineer – Industrial

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer – Industrial in our Baltimore office, you will help us empower clients to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing Industrial and Advanced Manufacturing industry through design and improvement of electrical systems for all types of facilities.

In this role, you will be involved in a variety of engineering‑led projects, including the design of industrial/manufacturing facilities, testing facilities, automotive and aerospace facilities, energy and utility facilities, and plant betterment projects.

Qualifications / Experience

• BSEE or other engineering discipline with applicable experience.
• 10+ years of experience in the consulting engineering industry for process/manufacturing facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, or governmental facilities.
• Ability to develop scope of work, conceptual design, detailed design, and execution plans.
• Ability to support proposals and assist in client sales presentations.
• Perform Lead Engineer duties on multi‑discipline projects.
• Provide leadership, guidance, instruction, and mentorship to less experienced team members.

Effective Skills

• Professional Engineering License (PE) in one or more states.
• Advanced knowledge of power distribution systems, including specification of medium voltage (15 kV – 69 kV+) equipment, power system fault and coordination studies, power system protection schemes and protective relays.
• Proficiency in engineering calculation and selection software for design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, SKM Power Tools, ETAP, SmartPlant, etc.).
• Experience researching, compiling, and presenting project data for client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration.
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
• Effective use of MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam; quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work effectively individually and within team environments.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $90,000 – $150,000.
