Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to lead multi-project electrical design, including cleanroom design and process utility systems for advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, and technology markets.

The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary coordination and adherence to coding standards. You will design layouts, perform calculations, and select equipment while managing budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License (PE) strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of related Electrical Design experience.
• Strong knowledge of medium and low voltage design.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience with electrical, building, and energy codes is desirable.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and REVIT.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Electrical system construction drawings and specifications for submittal and construction administration.
• Develop preliminary schematics through final designs, calculations, equipment selection, and layout.
• Manage project design budgets and schedules while ensuring quality.
• Conduct code research and apply applicable codes.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and contractors.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure project success.
