Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our team in Colorado. You will manage multi-project electrical design including cleanroom design and process utility systems for advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, and technology markets.

In this role, you will prepare drawings, schematics, and specifications, manage budgets and schedules, perform NEC/code research, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and other disciplines. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of related Electrical Design experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, medium and low voltage design.
• Experience applying electrical, building, and energy codes is desired.
• Strong verbal and writing skills; ability to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

What You'll Need

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• Licenses/Registrations: A Professional Engineer License (PE) is strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of related Electrical Design experience
• Strong knowledge of medium voltage and low voltage design
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Application knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes is desired.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Strong background with Microsoft® Office, AutoCAD, and REVIT
• Ability to travel.
