Job summary

Outward Hound is seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to lead product design and innovation across our brands. You will shape future direction, combining hard and soft goods expertise with character-driven design and strong manufacturing knowledge.

The role requires deep passion for pets, a track record of independent work, and ability to influence cross-functional teams from concept through commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Toy Design required.
• Minimum 6 years of design experience, preferably in consumer products.
• Experience across hard goods and soft goods with emotional storytelling.
• Strong manufacturing and tooling awareness for product realization.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design and innovation initiatives across our portfolio.
• Create emotionally engaging, character-driven products with broad consumer appeal.
• Develop initial tech packs for handoff to soft goods development teams and suppliers.
• Collaborate with VP to drive ideation and long-term portfolio growth.
