ICON Technology's Industrial Design team seeks a Senior Industrial Designer who is curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented. You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for conceiving, designing, validating, and launching world-class products.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and materials, and bringing products from concept to production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional work experience as an Industrial Designer.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating production-ready design.
• Hands-on prototyping experience.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and Executives to invent, design, engineer, and launch new products and services.
• Negotiate and collaborate cross-functionally with Hardware, Home, Controls, Material Science and Software teams to refine and execute the vision for our products and services.
• Develop deep technical knowledge across teams to understand design constraints and enable production.
• Collaborate with outside vendors and internal experts to optimize designs for function, aesthetics, and production.
• Research new materials, production methods, and technology as needed for projects.
• Be willing to perform a wide range of tasks daily, transitioning between studio work and field tasks.
