Job summary

Anduril Industries, based in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks an Industrial Design Program Manager to drive the design-to-manufacturing pipeline for the ID team. The role requires deep knowledge of the industrial design process in a technical environment and a passion for bringing products to life.

The ideal candidate will lead the ID program, coordinate with engineering and manufacturing, and develop a synchronized DFM roadmap across the hardware portfolio while enforcing cross-functional design

Anduril’s Design Team is seeking a Lead Industrial Design Program Manager to join our team. The Design Team leads Anduril’s brand identity, visual communication, concept art, and industrial design. Our team’s purpose is to connect the mission, people, and products to elevate the Anduril brand.

ABOUT THE JOB

As an Industrial Design Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the design to manufacturing pipeline for the Industrial Design team. The ideal candidate will have deep industrial design development knowledge in a technical environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Oversee the Industrial Design program team
• Act as key liaison between Industrial Design team and manufacturing leads
• Track hardware manufacturing development and lifecycles across all business lines
• Develop a synchronous DFM product roadmap across hardware portfolio
• Implement design requirements across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics
• Coordinate asset delivery internally and externally

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years professional experience as a project or product manager in hardware management
• Strong understanding of industrial design process and design for manufacturing
• Experience with engineering teams and hardware product development is required
• Knowledge of digital asset management, JIRA, Coupa, and Airtable are a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally, especially between creative and technical disciplines
• A reliable self-starter, highly organized, resourceful, with attention to detail
• A team player who is highly collaborative with the ability to handle complex projects on a global scale
• Must be able to carry and lift loads up to 50lbs
• Must work on-site at HQ in Costa Mesa, Ca
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

US Salary Range

$161,000 - $212,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
