Job summary

HP is seeking a Senior Industrial Design Engineer to drive design strategy and leadership across a portfolio of complex hardware products. You will guide design architecture, language, validation, and specifications while mentoring junior staff.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners, manage schedules, and present business cases to senior executives. Expect travel and relocation as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial design and hardware product development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple project teams of designers and partners across all stages of industrial design and development for complex products.
• Manages and expands internal and external partnerships on design and development.
• Reviews designs for compliance with guidelines and drives quality improvements.
• Manages implementation schedules, coordinating timelines with managers and partners.
• Provides domain-specific leadership and cross-organizational perspective in projects.
