Job summary

Comprehensive Energy Services is seeking a Chiller Technician to service industrial and commercial HVACR systems under the guidance of the Service Manager. The role requires decisive, tactful individuals who can communicate well with customers and CES colleagues to diagnose problems and efficiently complete jobs for mutual benefit.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ year HVACR program, 5+ years of commercial chiller/refrigeration experience, and EPA certification.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of successful experience as a commercial chiller/refrigeration service technician.
• EPA Certification required.
• Good verbal and reading skills including ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions and to clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, and other CES employees.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot chiller and related equipment promptly and efficiently as a member of the Service Department Team.
• Perform routine chiller service activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
• Conduct point-of-work sales of services, unit components, unit replacements, add-on units, and commercial service contracts.
• Develop lead referrals for the sales staff.
• Support Installation Departments with non-service work as assigned.
• Perform related duties as directed by the Service Manager.
• Keep vehicle clean and use it only for company work.
• Drive safely at all times and avoid using a cellular phone while driving.
