Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer with 5–7 years in manufacturing engineering, focusing on PLC systems and automation. You will improve processes, optimize production, and support automation initiatives.

You will analyze processes, support installation, troubleshoot PLC equipment, collaborate with controls and design teams, and drive lean improvements through PFMEA, time studies, and line balancing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or related engineering field.
• 5–7 years in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong hands-on PLC and automation experience.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
• Ability to read electrical/control drawings.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes and layouts.
• Analyze processes to boost quality and productivity.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and automation.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and automation.
• Collaborate on PLC programming, testing, and debugging.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare work instructions and SOPs.
• Perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support PFMEA, line balancing, time studies.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Design teams.
• Support NPI, equipment validation, and ramp-up.
• Ensure safety and compliance in processes.
