Job summary

USI Consultants is seeking a Senior Project Engineer/Project Supervisor for Southwest Indiana, responsible for leading INDOT projects and ensuring construction compliance with contract documents.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience managing INDOT projects, a valid driver's license, and a strong ability to work both independently and in a team. USI offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with company, client, government and industry standards.
• Observes and monitors construction for compliance with contract documents.
• Records field observations and determines acceptability of construction work.
• Prepares reports outlining the work performed.
• Reviews and verifies contractor’s payment applications.
• Coordinates construction activities with owner.
• Prepares and maintains project records.

Skills

Construction Inspection experience

Ability to read and comprehend construction documents

5+ years of direct experience managing INDOT and INDOT LPA projects

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Good oral and written communication skills

Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment

Valid Driver's License

Education

High School Diploma

INDOT certified technician or Construction/Civil Engineering degree
