Malarkey Roofing Products is seeking a Senior Category Manager - Indirect to lead our indirect procurement function and drive strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and cost optimization across multiple locations.

The role requires 5 years in strategic procurement, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and travel ~20%. Located in Dundee, MI or other approved offices, you will partner with Legal to negotiate contracts and improve supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5 years of experience in strategic procurement and business operations.
• Travel requirement around 20%.
• Experience in building products or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Advanced planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead indirect procurement activities across all Malarkey locations and categories (e.g., MRO, services, fleet).
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and negotiate supplier contracts with Legal involvement.
• Monitor supplier performance and qualifications to optimize the supplier base and costs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Amrize businesses to maximize leverage and share best practices.
• Ensure supplier compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and business requirements.
