Job summary

Maximus provides cyber defense and incident response capabilities in support of DoD mission assurance objectives. This role focuses on rapid detection, education, forensic analysis, response, containment, and recovery from cyber incidents affecting defense systems in classified environments.

This on-site position requires a TS/SCI security clearance and is contingent upon award, with the Maximus TCS profile code TCS035, T5, Band 8.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of incident response analysis experience.
• DoD 8140 certifications for DCWF 531: CCNA, CySA+, CFR, GCFA, GCIA, GICSP.
• Experience using EnCase, FTK, Volatility, NIST SP 800-61 (incident response lifecycle).

Responsibilities

• Respond to and investigate cybersecurity incidents.
• Conduct incident response and evidence collection.
• Contain, eradicate, and recover from cyber events.
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures and playbooks.
