Job summary

TENEX is seeking a Senior Incident Responder to lead investigations, contain threats, and guide customers through critical incidents. You will own escalations end-to-end, shape response processes, and prepare for IR leadership as the team scales.

You will drive customer response as a strategic advisor, improve playbooks based on real incidents, and collaborate with Detection Engineering, Forward Deployment, and Software Engineering to close gaps and drive product improvements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in incident response with at least 2 years as a tier 3 analyst.
  • At least 2 years of end-to-end incident experience.
  • Deep knowledge of attacker techniques, forensics, and modern detection tooling (SIEM/SOAR, EDR).
  • Cloud incident response experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong communication skills for technical teams and customers.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Incident Responder, you’ll lead investigations, contain threats, and guide customers through critical security incidents. You’ll own escalations end-to-end, shape our response processes, and prepare for IR leadership as the team scales.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, or CISSP are a plus.
