Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Incident Manager for Prime Video to lead the incident response function for the video-on-demand platform. The role focuses on defining strategy, operating models, and tooling vision to improve observability and incident triage.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in IT infrastructure or incident management, strong technical and communication skills, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve high-severity incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering — required
• 8+ years of IT infrastructure or incident management experience
• Experience with very large distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy and operating model for incident response to minimize customer impact.
• Lead the Incident Response function with a globally distributed team 24x7.
• Own operational metrics and drive continual improvement.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve high-severity incidents.
• Educate leaders and engineers on incident response best practices.
• Serve as escalation point for critical customer issues.
