Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking an In-Shop Diesel Technician - Level III to service Cummins engines and related equipment in our distribution shop. The role includes hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

You will perform preventative maintenance, document work thoroughly, and participate in ongoing training and certifications while following health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred.
• Vocational diploma from a technical institution.
• Locally valid driving permit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on diesel engines and related equipment in a service shop.
• Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines and use diagnostic software.
• Apply documented procedures to complete complex repairs and prepare required parts/tools.
• Complete required documentation such as work orders, time sheets and warranty claims.
