Senior In-House Litigation Attorney – Epic

Location: Madison, WI (relocation support provided).

Overview

Your primary focus will be on managing complex litigation and counseling on various areas of potential risk, including regulatory, competition, healthcare law and more. You'll assist in handling and winning multi-million dollar disputes, minimizing risk through proactive counseling, and representing the company in high-stakes legal proceedings. Additionally, you'll work on forging relationships with vendors and industry collaborators, ensuring compliance with existing and developing legal frameworks in the U.S. and abroad. Your level of responsibility will match your skill set and will increase rapidly as you expand your knowledge of our exciting and rapidly changing industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex litigation across multiple practice areas.
• Provide proactive counseling to mitigate risk for the company and its partners.
• Represent Epic in high‑stakes proceedings and settle disputes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and industry collaborators.
• Ensure compliance with legal frameworks in the U.S. and abroad.

Qualifications

• JD and strong academic and professional background.
• Experience counseling toward risk mitigation, drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions, conducting oral arguments, leading settlement negotiations, and trying cases.
• Experience in competition and regulatory litigation is a plus.
• Eye for detail, a creative mind and excellent communication, writing and analytic skills.
