Beacon Hill, a premier staffing and career placement firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Counsel (In-House Attorney) to support a growing healthcare services and technology company in Washington, DC. This full-time role requires business-minded legal advice on a wide range of employment matters and close collaboration with HR and leadership.

The ideal candidate has at least seven years of employment law experience, bar admission, and a proven track record handling investigations,

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active U.S. bar membership.
• Seven+ years of employment law experience, in-house or in law firm.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in healthcare, technology, or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic legal advice on daily employment matters and policies.
• Partner with HR and leadership to resolve employee relations issues.
• Manage agency charges and coordinate with external counsel for litigation.
• Draft, review, and update employment agreements, policies, and handbooks.
• Deliver training on evolving employment law developments and compliance.
