Job summary

Diamondback E&P LLC is seeking a Staff Counsel to provide a range of legal services and strategic advice. In this role, you will support litigation management and oversee the evaluation, drafting, and negotiation of various contracts, including Master Service Agreements.

Successful candidates will possess a Juris Doctor and at least five years of applicable legal practice. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Active admission to a state bar eligible for in-house practice in Texas.
• Five years of law practice in a firm, government, or in-house role.
• Ability to analyze and advise on litigation risk effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support disputes and litigation matters, including pre-litigation investigation.
• Evaluate and recommend options for dispute resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate Master Service Agreements and other contracts.
