Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking a Caring Caregiver to provide one-on-one, non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent. You’ll work with individualized care plans, offer companionship, and support daily activities.

We value reliability, compassion, and communication. A CNA/HHA certification or caregiving hours are preferred, and we offer flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and a supportive team that recognizes your dedication.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification preferred, OR
• 1,000 hours of caregiving experience preferred, including approximately 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time caring for seniors or individuals with chronic illnesses
• Current TB test
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle if transporting clients
• Ability to pass a national background check and drug screening
• Ability to meet applicable state and federal requirements
• HomeWell Care Services is not currently offering visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and emotional support
• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
• Meal preparation and assistance with meals
• Medication reminders
• Walking, transfers, and mobility assistance
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and outings when applicable
• Assistance with daily living activities
• Following individualized care plans
• Communicating client changes, concerns, or incidents to management
• Treating every client with patience, dignity, kindness, and respect
