Job summary

RXO is seeking a Senior Specialist, Import Customs Compliance to act as the subject matter expert for import compliance and CBP regulations. You will support the Customs Brokerage operations, monitor adherence, and help reduce risk while enabling efficient entry processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of customs brokerage, customs compliance, or international trade experience.
• Strong knowledge of customs entry procedures and CBP regulations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for import customs compliance across the organization.
• Monitor import entry activities for CBP compliance.
• Provide guidance on entry processing, tariff classification, valuation, and admissibility.
• Oversee ISF and in-bond compliance programs.
• Conduct compliance reviews, audits, and investigations to mitigate regulatory risks.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Prepare regulatory updates, bulletins, and customer communications.
• Partner with operations, sales, and customers to address compliance questions.
• Deliver internal and customer-facing training on customs topics.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate required actions.
• Support CBP audits and corrective action initiatives.
