Job summary

The Remedy Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Manager to lead technology, data, connectivity, and reporting for complex specialty pharmacy launches. You will partner with biopharma manufacturers and internal teams to ensure systems, data flows, and reporting meet launch goals.

You will translate workflows into technical requirements, drive scalable designs, and oversee data exchanges, APIs, and testing. This role requires travel up to 50% and strong client‑facing leadership.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist with Doctor of Pharmacy or ACPE‑accredited degree.
  • Active license or eligibility for pharmacy licensure.
  • At least two years of licensed pharmacist experience.
  • Expert‑level CareTend knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy operations and patient journeys.
  • Experience with healthcare technology, data management, or data operations.
  • Experience supporting data feeds, SFTP connectivity, APIs, system integrations, and reporting.
  • Ability to translate pharmacy workflows into technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated consultative, client‑facing guidance to biopharma or manufacturer partners.
  • Strong project‑management, presentation, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet launch deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technology, data, connectivity, and reporting workstream for new specialty pharmacy product launches.
  • Serve as the primary technical and data SME throughout launch planning and implementation.
  • Partner with biopharma manufacturers to evaluate designs, requirements, risks, dependencies, and feasibility.
  • Translate pharmacy workflows into system, data, and reporting requirements.
  • Assess launch designs for scalability, data capture needs, reporting impact, implementation risk, and vendor dependencies.
  • Coordinate with technology, pharmacy operations, analytics, compliance, account management, CareTend, WellSky, and external integration partners.
  • Oversee readiness for file-based data exchanges, SFTP connections, APIs, system integrations, data validation, reconciliation, and launch testing.
  • Develop and maintain data requirements, file specifications, connectivity maps, testing plans, and implementation documentation.
  • Ensure technical requirements align with program contracts and manufacturer expectations.
  • Prepare presentations and materials that educate stakeholders, clarify decisions, and build alignment.
  • Participate in client meetings, implementation discussions, vendor sessions, and launch summits.
  • Help standardize launch templates, documentation, and processes to support a scalable launch-excellence model.
  • Partner with leadership and operational teams to incorporate AI and automation into new programs from day one.

About the Opportunity

This highly visible, client-facing position sits at the intersection of specialty pharmacy operations, healthcare technology, data integration, reporting, and launch strategy. You will work directly with biopharma manufacturers and internal teams to ensure every new program has the systems, connectivity, data flows, and reporting infrastructure needed for a successful launch.

This is an ideal opportunity for a pharmacist with expert-level CareTend knowledge who understands how patient journeys translate into practical technology and data requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the technology, data, connectivity, and reporting workstream for new specialty pharmacy product launches
  • Serve as the primary technical and data subject matter expert throughout launch planning and implementation
  • Partner directly with biopharma manufacturers to evaluate program designs, requirements, risks, dependencies, and technical feasibility

Your Background
  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE‑accredited institution
  • Active pharmacist license or eligibility for pharmacy licensure
  • At least two years of experience as a practicing licensed pharmacist
  • Expert‑level CareTend knowledge required
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy operations and patient journeys, including intake, enrollment, reimbursement support, dispensing, fulfillment, and ongoing patient services
  • Experience with healthcare technology, data management, or specialty pharmacy data operations
  • Experience supporting data feeds, SFTP connectivity, APIs, system integrations, and reporting infrastructure
  • Ability to translate pharmacy workflows into technical, data, and reporting requirements
  • Demonstrated experience providing consultative, client‑facing guidance to biopharma or manufacturer partners
  • Strong project‑management, presentation, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet launch deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
