Role overview

A customer-facing implementation role on a small, high-output engineering team building healthcare data exchange infrastructure. The position blends hands‑on full-stack work with technical partnership responsibilities, guiding clients from onboarding through production rollout. Expect to operate with significant autonomy in a fast-paced, founder‑heavy culture that prizes speed and craft.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers across the full partnership lifecycle, from discovery through production launch
• Lead onboarding discovery calls to capture use cases, technical requirements, and success criteria
• Manage and prioritize customer requests, coordinating with engineering teams and tracking issues to resolution
• Troubleshoot and debug customer‑side issues, escalating to engineering when needed
• Maintain and support APIs and integrations, ensuring seamless functionality for live customers
• Participate in weekly customer syncs, bi‑weekly sprint planning and retros, and quarterly planning sessions
• Attend a daily 30‑minute remote stand‑up at 7:30am PST, the team's only regular mandatory meeting

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience supporting software implementation in customer‑facing roles
• Full‑stack proficiency with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to figure out unfamiliar problems independently
• Comfort balancing rapid delivery against long‑term quality tradeoffs
• Strong customer communication skills and the ability to build genuine technical partnerships

Nice to have

• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability concepts such as HIPAA, FHIR, HIE, HL7, EHR/EMR, ADT, TEFCA, HEDIS, ICD-10, SNOMED, or LOINC
