Senior Implementation Accountant

Lexington, SC (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $100-135k
Schedule: 40-50 hours per week
Location: Lexington, SC (Approximately 70% onsite)

Overview

A growing construction-related organization is seeking a Senior Implementation Accountant to lead a critical accounting system conversion initiative at a recently acquired business. The Senior Implementation Accountant will play a key role in completing an active ComputerEase implementation, migrating historical and current project accounting data, and improving accounting processes within a fast-paced environment.

This Senior Implementation Accountant opportunity is ideal for a hands‑on professional who combines strong accounting knowledge with ERP implementation experience and can independently drive projects from assessment through completion.

Core Responsibilities

The Senior Implementation Accountant will:

• Complete a partially implemented ComputerEase conversion project.
• Migrate historical and current-year accounting and project data from legacy systems and manual records.
• Validate data accuracy and reconcile converted information.
• Work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
• Establish accounting workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with job costing structures and construction accounting processes.
• Support development of reporting tools and Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.

Technical Skills

• ComputerEase experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with BusinessWorks, Sage, or similar accounting systems is a plus.
• Intermediate Excel skills for reconciliation and data validation activities.
• Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
