Job summary

HotSpot Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated immunologist to join our Immunology Team.

This lab-based role designs, executes, and interprets cellular immunology studies that advance discovery-stage small molecule programs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with primary human immune cells and a track record of independently running complex immunology experiments, generating high-quality data that informs mechanism of action and target biology.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc/BS with relevant industry experience. Demonstrated independence in research.
• Hands-on experience with primary human immune cells and immunology assays.
• Experience with multiparameter flow cytometry for cell phenotyping and functional assessment.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot cellular immunology experiments and interpret complex data.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments using primary human immune cells to support small molecule programs.
• Design multiparameter flow cytometry experiments and analyze results.
• Characterize compound activity and pharmacodynamics in cellular systems.
• Troubleshoot experiments with minimal supervision and maintain detailed records.
• Collaborate across biology, chemistry, and translational sciences to advance programs.
