Job summary

HotSpot Therapeutics, Inc in Boston, MA, seeks an Assoc. Director/Director, Clinical Scientist & Operations to advance early immunology programs.

This hybrid role bridges Clinical Sciences, Clinical Operations, Translational Sciences, and Discovery, driving biomarker strategies and study execution. The successful candidate will provide scientific leadership, oversee biomarker data delivery, manage CROs, budgets, and study plans, and contribute to regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in biology, immunology, or related life sciences with 8+ years in clinical development/operations.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant industry experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and clinical study support from start-up through clinical study report.
• Oversee enrollment and ensure timelines for key program deliverables.
• Implement clinical biomarker strategies and oversee sample activities.
• Interpretation and communication of safety and efficacy data.
• Ensure adherence to GCP, pharmacovigilance standards and SOPs.
• Contribute to regulatory responses and meetings.
