Job summary

Serif Biomedicines is seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist of Immunology with expertise in T cell biology and in vivo CAR‑T therapy development to join our therapeutic discovery team. The candidate will plan and execute bench‑level experiments while driving strategic decisions for preclinical programs.

This role emphasizes independent and collaborative work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment, with responsibilities including designing in vitro assays, conducting in vivo studies

Qualifications

• PhD in Immunology or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in flow cytometry and data analysis.
• Experience with primary T cells and PBMCs.
• Experience with mouse models; humanized mice and NHPs preferred.
• In vivo CAR-T experience preferred.
• Strong bench productivity and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific strategies of independent projects or workstreams within a program.
• Design and execute complex in vitro assays to evaluate CAR‑T cell function.
• Design and execute in vivo studies, including humanized mice and NHPs; interact with CROs/academia.
• Develop, optimize and troubleshoot experimental protocols; maintain accurate lab records.
• Analyze, interpret and communicate data at team meetings; collaborate across functions.
