Job summary

Pharmaron Beijing Co. Ltd. seeks a Senior Scientist I for Immunoassay method development in Germantown, MD. This hands-on role requires leading development from design through validation, with extensive experience in large-molecule bioanalysis, PK/ADA/biomarkers, and direct sponsor interaction.

You will troubleshoot complex assays, optimize platforms, and guide junior scientists in a fast-paced CRO environment. Regulated lab experience is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD with 5–6 years in regulated large-molecule bioanalytical environments.
• Independent method development leadership for 3–4 years.
• CRO or client-facing bioanalytical experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience across PK, ADA, and biomarkers.
• Deep troubleshooting and assay optimization experience.

Responsibilities

• Own method development projects from design through pre-validation and validation.
• Develop and optimize large-molecule ligand-binding assays (LBA) for PK, ADA, and biomarkers.
• Troubleshoot assay issues with data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with sponsors and internal teams; provide updates and recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure high-quality, well-documented work.
