Her Justice in New York City seeks a Senior Immigration Staff Attorney to deliver comprehensive immigration services to low‑income women and gender‑diverse clients, including survivors of violence, with a focus on pro‑bono placement and mentoring volunteer attorneys.

This client‑facing, hybrid role requires strong judgment, case management, trauma‑informed practice, and collaboration with a diverse network of law firms, clinics, and community partners.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing immigration law and direct legal services.
• Strong substantive knowledge of immigration law, policy, and procedure.
• Experience representing clients in humanitarian immigration matters and relief.
• Experience serving low-income or marginalized communities.
• Ability to mentor and guide attorneys and law students.

• Conduct intake consultations and assess legal issues for brief services and pro bono placement.
• Provide trauma-informed immigration services to women and gender-diverse clients.
