VisaWorker.ai seeks a Senior Immigration Attorney to lead complex EB-1A and O-1A matters, with expertise in EB-2 NIW, and to shape how evidence is gathered and presented for AI-assisted petitions.

You will assess eligibility, identify evidence gaps, and turn achievements into persuasive, well-supported arguments while developing standards for petitions and responses. Collaboration with founders, engineers, and legal colleagues is essential to improve quality and user experience.

Qualifications

• Typically 5–10 years of U.S. immigration-law experience.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to explain different legal standards (EB-1A, O-1A, NIW) and build evidence-driven strategies.
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal strategy and quality for EB-1A and O-1A matters, with EB-2 NIW exposure.
• Assess eligibility, identify evidence gaps, and translate achievements into persuasive arguments.
• Develop rigorous standards for petitions, supporting letters, evidence review, and RFE/NOID responses.
• Translate legal expertise into product requirements, reusable workflows, and evaluation criteria for AI-assisted work.
• Review AI-generated work, verify authorities and factual claims, maintain confidentiality and professional judgment.
• Collaborate with founders, engineers, and legal professionals to improve quality, speed, and applicant experience.

Senior Immigration Attorney

$240,000 annual base salary + equity

Help build the next era of immigration law. VisaWorker.ai builds AI-powered tools for complex immigration petitions. We are looking for a senior immigration lawyer with deep expertise in extraordinary- and exceptional-ability cases—and the conviction that the work of an immigration lawyer will change very quickly.

COMPENSATION

$240,000 annual base salary + equity. We aim to pay at the top of the market for this role. Equity is part of the offer; grant size and terms will be discussed individually.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Lead legal strategy and quality for complex EB-1A and O-1A extraordinary-ability matters, with expertise in EB-2 exceptional ability and national interest waiver cases.
• Assess eligibility, identify evidence gaps, and turn complex achievements into clear, persuasive, well-supported arguments.
• Develop rigorous standards for petitions, supporting letters, evidence review, and RFE/NOID responses.
• Translate legal expertise into product requirements, reusable workflows, and evaluation criteria for AI-assisted work.
• Review AI-generated work critically, verify authorities and factual claims, and uphold confidentiality and independent professional judgment.
• Collaborate with the founders, engineers, and legal professionals to improve quality, speed, and the applicant experience.

WHO YOU ARE

• Typically 5–10 years of U.S. immigration-law experience; deeper relevant experience is welcome.
• Substantial hands-on expertise in EB-1A and O-1A cases, plus a strong command of exceptional-ability and NIW matters. You can explain the different legal standards and build evidence-driven strategies for each.
• J.D. or equivalent qualifying legal degree, with active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and authorization to perform the role's legal duties.
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical judgment, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Comfortable working with founders, researchers, engineers, and other highly accomplished applicants.
• Convinced that AI will rapidly reshape immigration practice—and motivated to help build that future while maintaining exacting legal standards.
• An owner who combines client empathy, attention to detail, and the initiative to improve how work gets done.
