The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is seeking a Senior Imaging Technologist to assist physicians in diagnosing patients through advanced radiographic procedures. The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Downtown Campus intends to hire for two positions at either the Imaging Technologist classification or Senior Imaging Technologist, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. Selective candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.Current UI employees are not eligible.
The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Downtown Campus Department of Radiology is seeking a Senior Imaging Technologist or an Imaging Technologist t o work with physicians in the diagnosis of patients by performing special radiographic technical procedures.
University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center Downtown (located at 500 E. Market Street, Iowa City, IA) is a 194-bed hospital that became part of Iowa’s only comprehensive academic health system on Jan. 31, 2024.
Additional Duties:
Percent of Time: 100%
Schedule: 1st shift, rotating holidays and on call
Pay Grade : 5
The department will be filling this position at one of two levels. The Imaging Technologist classification salary is 4, and the Senior Imaging Technologist classification salary is 5. You must indicate in your cover letter the level of classification (Imaging Technologist and/or Senior Imaging Technologist) you wish to be considered for or indicate both.
