Job summary

DigitalFish is advancing imaging technology to simulate camera capture and support architecture validation for consumer products. You will collaborate with camera architects, systems, optics, and IQ teams to deliver high-fidelity simulators for real-world camera behavior.

The role covers developing tools for novel HW explorations, validating models, and supporting data-driven product architecture tasks in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Imaging Science, Image Processing, Computer Vision, or related field.
• Knowledge of image formation, PSF, sensor noise and sampling concepts for modeling imaging phenomena.
• Experience and knowledge in developing and tuning Image Signal Processing (ISP) pipelines.
• Experience with image quality testing of camera systems and related metrics.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++, with CUDA preferred; capable of multi-platform code.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and execute state-of-the-art imaging software simulation tools.
• Investigate imaging simulation methods to enable realistic camera behavior modeling.
• Experiment and collect data to validate simulator accuracy and improve models.
• Build lab setups for image data acquisition and maintain lab equipment.
• Develop and document camera test methodologies for 2D/3D performance analysis.
• Develop and debug test scripts for image data collection automation.
• Process, analyze, and present measurement data.
• Drive supplier interaction to deliver camera prototypes for demonstrations.
