Job summary

Dolby is seeking an engineer to design and develop Dolby Imaging/Video algorithms and software. You will contribute to architectures that support the imaging technology pipeline across ecosystems and devices, and productize concepts into high-performance libraries.

The role requires C/C++ coding, CPU optimizations with multithreading or SIMD, and Windows or Linux development, plus strong communication and collaboration in an Agile environment. Flex Work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in coding with C and C++.
• Understanding of C/C++ code optimizations to accelerate on CPU processors using multithreading or SIMD instructions.
• Microsoft Windows or Linux development experience is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative Dolby Imaging/Video algorithms and software.
• Contribute to new technical architectures to support the imaging technology innovation pipeline across ecosystems and devices.
• Prototype proofs-of-concept and productize them into high-performance libraries.
• Implement performance optimization of algorithms.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced Agile environment and with QA to enhance test setups.
• Follow best practices for source control, CI, automated testing, and release management.
• Produce and maintain documentation of work.
