2nd shift printer/operator role includes operating high resolution imaging equipment, programming jobs, and maintaining production logs.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of digital print and inkjet imaging equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and correct operating problems affecting quality.
- Strong color theory knowledge and ability to adjust output per specs.
- Proficient in file manipulation and digital print formats.
- Experience setting up feed rollers and inline finishing per job specs.
- May instruct junior operators on corrective adjustments.
- Ability to interpret symptoms, causes, and remedies for issues.
Responsibilities
- Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment.
- Program and prepare jobs for printing.
- Maintain daily print production logs and delivery manifests.
- Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
- Adjust image position, color quality, and paper finishing to spec.
- Monitor output quality for accuracy.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain inventory and stock levels.
